Many toddlers walk on their toes while learning to walk, and it usually fades on its own by age two or three. Physiotherapy helps when toe walking continues longer, as it can tighten calf muscles and affect balance.
When to see a physiotherapist: Consult a doctor if toe walking continues after age three, is only on one side, or comes with stiffness, delayed speech, or other developmental concerns.
