Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain affects the jaw joint and surrounding muscles, often causing pain while chewing, talking, or opening the mouth. Physiotherapy helps relax jaw muscles and restore comfortable jaw movement.
When to see a physiotherapist: See a doctor or dentist if the jaw locks, pain is severe, or it does not improve with self-care, and consult a physiotherapist for jaw exercises.
