Thoracic outlet syndrome happens when nerves or blood vessels between the collarbone and first rib become compressed, causing pain, tingling, or weakness in the arm. Physiotherapy helps release tightness and restore normal nerve and blood flow to the arm.
When to see a physiotherapist: Seek medical advice if the arm becomes pale, cold, or severely weak, and consult a physiotherapist early for nerve and posture-related symptoms.
